Winning and losing part of game: Shahbaz Sharif

Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has said that national team has played well adding that winning and losing are part of game.

He expressed these views while receiving the Pakistan cricket team at Allama Iqbal International Airport Lahore which arrived back in country after participating in World Cup tournament.

On this occasion Chairman Cricket Board Ijaz Butt, Chief Minister Punjab Mian Shahbaz Sharif, Senior Provincial Minster Zulfiqar Khosa including other high officials and huge numbers of fans have warmly welcomed national cricket team on Lahore airport and acknowledged their performance.

While talking to Media Mian Shahbaz Sharif expressed that national team has played well and was named among four best teams of the world. Winning and losing are part of game. It is so pleasant that national team qualified for Semi Final in hard time.

Hopefully our players will show more good performance in future.

Mian Shahbaz Sharif invited players in Chief Minister’s House on 5th April where each player would be awarded by 5 lac rupees respectively.

Chairman Cricket Board Ijaz Butt said that he is happy that Chief Minister Mian Shahbaz Sharif welcomed players on their arrival.

Manager National team Intiakhab Alam on behalf of national team extended his gratitude to Mian Shahbaz Sharif on encouraging players by such warm welcome.

Wahab Riaz said, “ Player really worked hard. It was good match with India. They would have been much happier if Pakistan won this match and had returned by winning the world cup.”

He said that he felt immense pleasure when he got wicket of Youvraj Singh. He pledged that he would try his best to perform well in future also.
