At least one hundred and fifty-eight persons were killed in the massive bloodshed in the running month which is proved to be the worst in the past two decades in Karachi.
According to the Police sources, a man was killed on 1st March, five on 2nd March, five on 3rd March, four on 4th of March, ten on 5th March, five on 6th March, six on 7th March,
five on 8th March, four on 9th March, four on 10th March, eight on 11th March, fourteen on 12th March, ten on 13th March, seven on 14th March, eight on 15th March, nine on 16th March, eleven on 17th March, five on 18th March, twelve on 19th March, fifteen on
20th March, seven on 21st March and three killed on 22nd March. Killing spree has not ended yet.
The first twenty-two days proved to be the worst in the past two decades, 158 persons comprising political members, women and policemen killed in firing or target killing.
Police said that at least fifteen lost their lives on 20th of March which was the highest number in the running month.
