The rate of unemployment is alarmingly on the rise in Pakistan as millions of youths are struggling to find a job, what to speak of an employment matching their abilities.

Also, due to energy crises, industries are packing up to put oil to inferno to worsen the already deteriorating situation. The turmoil has swelled so much so that it has brought youths on the verge of complete disaster, leaving them disturbed enough to either committing suicide or turning drug-addicted once for all.

A latest sad incident in connection with aftermath of unemployment has jolted the entire county on Tuesday when an unemployed youth committed suicide in Karachi, port city of Pakistan, which also stands the financial hub of the country.

According to details, 22-year-old youngster, Amjad son of Daad Muhammd Baloch has committed suicide due to unemployment.

“Amjad poured kerosene oil and set himself ablaze, resulting in receiving critical injuries”, relatives told media.

According to police sources, the injured victim was immediately rushed to a local hospital but succumbed to his wounds.

Amjad used to work as chef but lost his job in November last year.
