Praising JUI-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman`s decision to quit the government, PML-Q president Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain on Thursday reiterated that his party would not join the government.
Mr Hussain was talking to journalists during his visit to Mera Basham to condole the death of PML-Q MPA Mohammad Zahir Shah and later in Thakot in Battagram district after offering condolences for the departed soul of the younger brother of former minister Alamzeb Khan.
“The PML-Q will continue to stick to its reconciliatory policy; we will keep our options open and anybody can contact us if they need us,” the party president said.
However, he made it clear that the PML-Q would not join the government, which was on way to its logical end owing to its wrong policies and corruption.
He said that the wrong policies of the present rulers had brought the country to the verge of collapse.
